Sonoran Desert Institute has demonstrated the ability to meet criteria for academic and consumer rights standards from federal and state agencies as well as non-governmental agencies. These standards ensure quality education through sound financial operations, approved programs of study, qualified instructors, and approved recruitment and admissions policies. Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board

Sonoran Desert Institute has been granted certification to offer the Certificate in Firearms Technology – Gunsmithing and Associate of Science in Firearms Technology programs by the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board.

Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board certification does not constitute an endorsement of any institution, course or degree program. Such certification merely indicates that certain minimum standards have been met under the rules and regulations of institutional certification as defined in Arkansas Code §6-61-301.
