Troubleshooting Centerfire Rifles
How to diagnose malfunctions in rifles whose priming composition is in the center of the head of the shell or case. Covers single-shot, bolt-action, lever-action, slide-action, and semiautomatic rifles.

Troubleshooting Shotguns
Covers operating characteristics and common malfunctions then offers remedies for single-shot shotguns, double-barrel shotguns, slide-action shotguns, and semiautomatic shotguns.

Troubleshooting Handguns
Demonstrates what can go wrong with a variety of smaller firearms - including Colt handguns, Smith & Wesson revolvers and semiautomatic pistols - and the techniques it takes to get them back in working order fast.

Converting Military Rifles to Sport
How to convert a military firearm into a sporting gun. Examining two particular guns - the Model 1917 Enfield and the Colt Model 1911 - you study stock adjustments, metal work, bolt bending, smoothing actions, slide preparation, frame refit and more.

Basic Hand Tools Lab Kit
Having the proper tools is essential for producing quality Gunsmithing work. And while you're probably well acquainted with ordinary household tools, the ones that you may already have around the house aren’t suited to all the needs and crafts of the gunsmith. In this lab session you get hands-on experience with some of the gunsmith's most vital hand tools. Guided by detailed diagrams and drawings, you see not only how you should use them with a variety of firearms, but also what you should do to keep your tools in top condition. You also discover more about how gunsmiths use files, rasps, hacksaws, drills, wrenches, and screws.
