Module 1 - Introduction to Gunsmithing
This module is an introduction to the business of Gunsmithing. In this module, you’ll learn the types of firearms and firearms fundamentals. You’ll also learn how to set up your shop and examine the tools required to repair firearms.

Module 2 - Sights, Accuracy, and Black Powder
In this module, you’ll learn how to clean and store your firearms. In the lessons, you’ll learn that a complete cleaning can repair a large number of firearms. You'll also learn about the sights used on firearms. Then, you will discover how to repair black-powder firearms.

Module 3 - Troubleshooting Firearms
In this module, you’ll learn how to troubleshoot firearms. We'll cover rimfire and centerfire rifles and handguns, as well as shotguns. We’ll also teach you how to convert military rifles into sporting arms.

Module 4 - Rechambering, Rebarreling, & Trigger Work
In this module, you’ll learn how to replace the barrel on firearms. We’ll teach you how to fit the chamber and adjust the freebore and headspacing. We'll also teach you how to adjust the trigger pull on rifles, handguns, and shotguns.

Module 5 - Gun Stocks
In this training unit, you’ll learn how to replace and repair gun stocks. You’ll learn how to select the wood and how to shape a stock. Then, we’ll teach you how to fit the new stock to the action of the firearm. You’ll also learn how to checker the stock.

Module 6 - Metal Polishing, Refinishing, and Engraving
This module covers the finishing of the metal. We’ll cover polishing, blueing, Parkerizing, and browning. You’ll also learn how to engrave metal so you can customize firearms for your customers.

Module 7 - Reloading
In this module, you’ll learn how to make your own ammunition. We’ll teach you how to reload centerfire and shotgun ammunition. Reloading ammunition not only saves you money, but also allows you to develop more accurate ammunition.

Module 8 - The Gunsmithing Business
In this module, you’ll learn how to set up your Gunsmithing business. You’ll learn about the laws that govern the operation of a firearms repair business. You'll also learn about business records and bookkeeping, as well as gain knowledge about advertising.
